Dewalt Framing Nailer Video Review
Dewalt Framing Nailer FAQ
A framing nailer is an intermittent power tool that can seamlessly work even without a continuous supply of air. This unit needs only a short blast to quickly drive a nail into the wooden objects. The nail is driven the entire length from a single shot, and special high-strength fasteners are produced to work with particularly hard surfaces. Its principle of operation is to transfer briskly energy from a pneumatic cylinder, with air pumped under pressure, a compressed spring or another source (depending on the design) directly to the fasteners. It can accommodate nails up to 3 ½ inches to join 2 x 4s.
It is enough to bring the barrel of the nailer to the surface, pull the trigger, and the nail will enter the material by itself. Up to three fasteners per second can be hammered. When working manually, it’s impossible to reach such a productivity level. Detailed usage instruction is the following:
– To fire the Hitachi, Dewalt framing nailer, or any other model, you have to align the cylinder and nail tip the way you want the nail to go off.
– Push the device towards the surface.
– Pull the trigger with one short movement (it should appear one nail with the slightly imbedded head (nearly 1/8-inch).
If there’s a need to sink the nail into the material more or less, adjust the tool.
As this tool are portable, the size of their compressor is 4.0 CFM with 4-6 gallons.
